Therapeutic approaches don’t amount to much if you don’t feel connected to your therapist. So, this practice was created and designed with you in mind. What is it you are looking for in a therapist? Perhaps you are in need of support and encouragement. If you are, that is what you will receive here. Maybe you are looking for a trusted ally willing to extend a hand, get dirty and pull you out of the mud or on another occasion stand beside you as the confetti falls in honor of your success. Then again, you may seek a confidante that listens as you sort though and process grief, self doubt, disappointment or exhaustion. Whatever the case may be, this is your therapy and this practice belongs to you.
As for me, I’m Chris, the son of a truck driver. I don’t reside on a cloud and occasionally step down from my place on high to impart wisdom upon the masses. To the contrary, I am your neighbor, the guy you might see at the coffee shop or at the grocery store. My credentials, my skills, my insights, my empathy and compassion are all used in the services of one goal…helping you. Every step of your life you will be there. Doesn’t it make sense to commit to becoming comfortable with the one person that will be there for every step…yourself. Gaining a deeper understanding of your strengths and challenges provides you with the blueprint to being more comfortable with yourself. Self awareness is crucial to understanding what motivates you to feel, think and then act. Mindfulness makes this possible. It would be my honor to help you achieve this.

Life is full of uncertainty. It is one of the only reliable aspects of the human experience. Pick a thing you engage with on any day and ask yourself if certainty is attached to it…weather, your health, traffic. You are surrounded by the unknown and the lack of certainty creates anxiety, depression, self doubt and fear. The good news is you can choose certainty in how you will engage in the uncertainty you experience. It would be my distinct pleasure to help you capture certainty and vanquish doubt.
